Immunologist Private Practice Opportunity, Launceston Tasmania from 2024

Opportunity exists for a Clinical Immunologist/allergist to join allergy service in Launceston Tasmania from 2024. Currently AProf Paul Cameron is working as Clinical Immunologist and allergist in private practice at Rose Cottage Medical centre with experienced GP allergists. He currently provides a broad range of clinical Immunology and allergy support covering the north of Tasmania and has a hospital appointment as a clinical immunologist at Launceston General Hospital. He is working collaboratively with Clinical Immunologists at Royal Hobart Hospital and GP allergists in Hobart.
Currently looking for a specialist to join the practice either full time or part time from 2024. Position is suitable for long term locum. Currently 0.7 FTE between private and public hospital practice.

Nurse Practitioner in Allergy, Queensland

Queensland Allergy Services, based in Southport, Queensland are seeking a Nurse Practitioner capable of working in the area of allergy. The position is flexible between 3-5 days per week.

Responsibilities will include skin testing and recording, clinical review, clinical education in patients with food allergies, desensitisation, monoclonal antibody administration and post COVID condition management and education. The Practice is also involved in research and provides the opportunity to work with Professor Pete Smith. 

Remuneration will be at generous industry levels for the right candidate and there are further opportunities for participation at national and international meetings

Coeliac Australia Medical Advisory Committee

Coeliac Australia's (CA) Medical Advisory Committee (MAC) provides independent advice to CA on matters relating to the care of people with coeliac disease. The MAC meets every 2 months, generally by video conference. The fields of adult and paediatric gastroenterology, primary practice, dietetics, immunology and pathology, and basic/clinical coeliac disease research are represented on the MAC. 

CA has a vacancy in the area of immunology and pathology. Applications are invited from health professionals in this field to join CA's MAC.

Immunologist Private Practice Opportunity, Redlands Specialist Centre (RSC), QLD

Redlands Specialist Centre (RSC) provides locally-based specialist medical services for patients living in the Southern bay area of Brisbane. A key goal for RSC is to build its specialist capacity to ensure a comprehensive level of specialist support for the local community.

Amongst other specialties, the centre currently houses respiratory specialists and a lung function lab that also offers skin prick testing. Adding immunology to our list of specialties would complement existing services. There is currently an opportunity at Redlands Specialist Centre for an Immunologist to fill a need in the Redlands area. We are currently looking for a specialist in this field who may be considering private practice either full time or part time.

The specialist support structure requires no initial outlay and makes the model very attractive to new specialists. We handle the setup and management, making it very easy to transition to private practice, with the advantage of having flexible working hours.
